The Chicago Union, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Trident Field.

The Chicago Union topped the El Paso Diablos, 9-8, at Trident Field. Chicago first baseman Cole Ray was a spark plug for the offense. He hit 3 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored three times. Chicago reliever Jose Sierra was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Won-keun Baek.

Jon Morales delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Union. For the game, Morales drew 1 walk.

"We got the victory," said Morales. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."

El Paso, with the loss, is still a hardy 3-1.
