Chicago first baseman Cole Ray was sensational. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Boston beat the Union, 8-4. In the top of the sixth, Brian Williams delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Boston second baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Shamrocks in front, 8-4.
