Reyes Hits Two Homers in 8-2 Win for Chicago
The Chicago Union defeated the Miami Sun Sox, 8-2, in part because of shortstop Victor Reyes. Reyes hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Union. The winning pitcher was Justin Thill. He tossed 116 pitches over 9 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. The win gives the Union a record of 8-16.

With Chicago leading 4-2 in the bottom of the eighth, Reyes hit a cutter from Jason Lightcap for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Union ahead, 8-2.

"We maximized our offense today," said Chicago skipper Ron Chiu. "That makes everyone's life easier."
