Motors Earn 3-2 Win Versus Knights
The Detroit Motors faced a tough opponent in Los Angeles pitcher Josh Owen, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Motor Yard by a final score of 3-2 in 13 innings. Owen went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Detroit pitcher Kevin Richardson got the win, upping his record to 1-0. David Gandarilla got the loss. Los Angeles has now lost 4 in a row.

In the bottom of the 13th, Paul Fitzgerald knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off Los Angeles pitcher David Gandarilla.

"We had a chance to win," said Los Angeles manager Jason Tudor, "but we didn't get it done."
