R Top Batter Trophy Won by Gordon Tuesday, October 1st , 2013 When Matthew Gordon stepped up to the plate in September he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the PBC Rookie Complex League Batter of the Month award. The young Houston (R) right fielder posted a .468 batting average with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 20 runs. Gordon also worked pitchers for 14 walks to post a .549 on-base percentage. Currently Gordon is batting .414 with 9 home runs and 32 RBIs. |
