Season Ends for Mike Maxwell of Boston (R) Thursday, September 19th , 2013 Mike Maxwell has to call it a season. The Boston (R) Shamrocks reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the El Paso (R) Diablos and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Maxwell was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 14 months. This year, his stats show Maxwell has 2 saves in 17 relief appearances with a 0-1 record and 4.22 ERA. |
