Denver (R)'s Collins Gets R Player of the Week Monday, September 16th , 2013 Denver (R) Cutthroats second baseman Ronnie Collins had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the PBC Rookie Complex League named him Player of the Week. Collins banged out 14 hits in 25 at-bats on the way to a .560 batting average. He also racked up 4 home runs, 6 RBIs and 10 runs scored. For the season, Collins is currently batting .199 with 8 home runs and 29 RBIs. In 70 games he has reached base at a .306 rate and scored 37 runs to date. |
