Nogera Fires No-Hitter Monday, September 9th , 2013 In a brilliant performance at PBC Rookie Development Complex, Atlanta (R) pitcher Luis Nogera entered an elite group by tossing a no-hitter against the Miami (R) Sun Sox. In the effort, he fanned 7 and walked 3, leading the Pilots to victory, 5-0. "I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball," Nogera said in the clubhouse after the game. "My guys made some nice plays behind me and cut off several hits, too." For the season, Nogera has compiled a 8-2 record with a 2.46 ERA. View Boxscore |
