Fontana Wins Best R Pitcher Sunday, September 1st , 2013 The best pitcher this past month in the PBC Rookie Complex League was Ryan Fontana of the Philadelphia (R) Keystones. He really razzle-dazzled league hitters, finishing August with a standout 4-1 record and 1.82 ERA. The Keystones hurler made 6 starts and surrendered 22 hits in 39.2 innings. He struck out 40 and walked 12. To date this year, in 16 starts, Fontana has crafted a 6-3 mark with a 2.42 ERA. |
