Tom Buck Selected July's Best Batter Thursday, August 1st , 2013 Toronto (R) Titans fans believe they've got a talented young star in Tom Buck. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in July, as he hit .416 with 8 home runs, 21 RBIs and 19 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the PBC Rookie Complex League Batter of the Month. This season, Buck has delivered 51 hits in 151 at-bats for a .338 average with 12 home runs. He is getting on base at a .429 clip and his totals also include 32 RBIs and 30 runs scored. This year Buck has played in 40 games. |
