Year Ends for Po-sin Zheng in Philadelphia (R) Thursday, July 25th , 2013 It took the Philadelphia (R) team doctor a while to realize it, but center fielder Po-sin Zheng won't simply play through a torn posterior cruciate ligament after he got hurt running the bases in today's Sun Sox-Keystones game. At first, it looked like Zheng might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 10 months. Currently Zheng is batting .354 with 52 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 23 runs and scored 25 times. |
