Raul Cordova Injured, Out for Year Monday, July 22nd , 2013 The season is ending on a bad note for Raul Cordova, center fielder for the Houston (R) Mavericks. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Cordova was hurt against the Detroit (R) Motors while colliding with a player at a base. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 10 months. So far in 2013 Cordova is batting .298 with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 36 hits in 121 at-bats and a .393 OBP. |
