Diablos Thompson Smacks 5 Hits Saturday, July 14th , 2012 Today at PBC Rookie Development Complex, the Los Angeles (R) Knights topped the El Paso (R) Diablos in spite of a standout batting performance by third baseman John Thompson. Thompson had a very impressive day at the plate, spanking Los Angeles (R) pitching for 5 base hits, but couldn't do enough for a win. Los Angeles (R) whipped El Paso (R) by the score of 9-7. John Thompson hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
