ABC Outstanding Skipper Award Given to Swanson Monday, October 21st , 2013 Eric Swanson, skipper of the St. Petersburg Pelicans, was voted 2013 Amateur Baseball Circuit Manager of the Year and accepted the award earlier today. He guided St. Petersburg to first place in the Central Division with a 59-29 record. "I'm very happy about this," he said at the press conference. "But I'm more happy about what my boys did on the field. They battled their butts off for me all year. They should get the credit." |
