ABC's Best Player Named Monday, September 30th , 2013 His teammates, fans, peers and even the BNN sportswriters all agreed that John Owens was worthy of the Amateur Baseball Circuit Player of the Week Award. During the week the Franklin center fielder compiled a .476 batting average (10-for-21) with 2 home runs, 3 runs batted in and scored 6 runs. So far this season, Owens has hit .328 with 14 home runs, 53 RBIs and scored 54 times. |
