Erwin Tumanut Out for Season Wednesday, September 25th , 2013 Erwin Tumanut has to call it a season. The Fort Wayne Farmers reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Franklin Knights and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Tumanut was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a sore shoulder and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. Tumanut has taken the mound for 6 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 3-1 record with a 3.31 ERA. The Fort Wayne reliever has limited opposing batters to a .288 batting average. |
