Providence Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Thursday, September 19th , 2013 The Providence Grays will have to play out the season without even the faintest glimmer of hope for a late-season playoff push. The club was mathematically eliminated today from postseason contention. Providence last appeared in the postseason in 2011. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 7 times in their 11-year history. Providence last won the Amateur Circuit Cup in 2003. |
