Smart's Season Could be Over Saturday, September 14th , 2013 The season is apparently over for Omar Smart. The Tulsa Twisters medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 6 months with shoulder inflammation. Smart was hurt in the game against Boston while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Checking out his stats for the season, Smart has notched 3 wins and 1 loss in 7 starts. His ERA is 3.94 and he's struck out 33 batters in 32 innings. |
