Party's Over: Mansfield Retires in Brooklyn Friday, September 6th , 2013 Mike Mansfield announced his retirement today according to sources inside the Brooklyn Atlantics organization. Mansfield, who is 38 years old, gave reporters some of his plans for the near future. "I'm going to do a lot of hunting and fishing," he said. "I've always been focused on getting ready for the next season, so maybe now I can slow down and enjoy time away from it all." Mansfield went back and forth with the press in a friendly manner during his press conference. "I'm sure there's a small-mouth bass out there with my name on it," he said. |
