August's Best ABC Hitter is Ramon Gonzalez Sunday, September 1st , 2013 For a rookie just breaking in, Ramon Gonzalez certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the ABC Batter of the Month award for August. The 22-year-old first baseman for the Fort Wayne Farmers hit .390 with 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 19 runs scored. In 64 games this year, Gonzalez has posted a .308 average and put up these numbers: 11 home runs, 33 RBIs and 49 runs scored. |
