Season-Ending Injury for Jeremy Olson Thursday, August 8th , 2013 The season is apparently over for Jeremy Olson. The Long Beach Titans medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 4-5 months with a torn meniscus. Olson was hurt in the game against Manchester while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Olson has taken the mound for 11 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 1-2 record with a 5.27 ERA. The Long Beach reliever has limited opposing batters to a .328 batting average. |
