However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 18-year-old starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Samrat would miss 13-14 months of the season. This season, Samrat has compiled a 1-6 mark with a 8.35 ERA. |
