Oilers Goode Calling it Quits Sunday, July 21st , 2013 Flanked by his two young children, Dan Goode said his reason for retirement is simple. "I want to spend more time being a father now," the Oil City Oilers reliever said in announcing that this season would be his last in pro baseball. "I'm 36 years old now, I think it's a good time to go." In his career, Goode has appeared in 19 games and earned 1 save with 47 Ks in 56.1 innings.
