Solis Sizzles -- Smokes Bulls for 5 Hits Wednesday, June 19th , 2013 A jubilant Luis Solis joined the postgame press conference at Dallas Park to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the Dallas Bulls pitching staff he had just vanquished. "It may not have looked like it," said the Providence Grays center fielder, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different." That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-5 hitting performance, which led to the 6-2 Grays win. "He made it look easy," said John Lund, manager of the Bulls. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously." Luis Solis singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Marco Vega in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
