Knights Advance to Amateur Circuit Cup Friday, October 5th , 2012 The Franklin Knights and Tulsa Twisters put on a classic Division Championship Series that was in question until the final game. In the end, Franklin won the deciding contest by a score of 6-2, to take the series 2-1. "It doesn't get much tighter than that. To win a series in the last game is a thrill," said Tim Maxwell, who earned series MVP honors for Franklin. "Our guys are breathing a little easier now." For the series, Maxwell hit .500 with a .545 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 0 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Franklin Knights will play against the Albuquerque Coyotes in the next round. Albuquerque won their series against the Boston Battalion 2 games to 1.
