Twisters Celebrate Wild Card Win Saturday, September 29th , 2012 The Tulsa Twisters have thrilled their fan base by securing a late-season wild card berth. The team's playoff future was certainly not a foregone conclusion, as the Twisters battled to find a place in the postseason. "We never lost faith, I think that's key," said catcher Josh Edwards. "Even when things got rough, people in our clubhouse believed we were going to win." With their record sitting at 50-36, the Twisters will try to build on their success to win the 2nd Amateur Baseball Circuit championship in team history. |
