Miyagi's Great Year Nets Pitcher of the Year Award Monday, November 4th , 2013 Gouki Miyagi was the most outstanding pitcher in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit this year and today was acclaimed the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for his efforts. Miyagi had a marvelous season, going 9-3 with an impressive 1.75 ERA in 21 starts. He struck out 151 in 149 innings and limited opposing batters to a .200 batting average. He received 18 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Sean Lee of the Vancouver Bruins finished second in voting, while Bill Salden of the Calgary Caracals finished third.
