Newark Devastated by Playoff Elimination Tuesday, October 1st , 2013 The 2013 Newark Eagles season won't end with a trip to the postseason. The club has fallen short on its bid to make the playoffs, being formally eliminated from qualifying today. "Disappointing," team owner Justin Roebuck told reporters. Before this season, the Eagles had made the playoffs 2 times in a row. In the 12 years they have been a Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit franchise, they have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
