Allentown Fleetwings Win Top Spot in East Division Tuesday, October 1st , 2013 The Allentown Fleetwings have narrowly captured the East Division. It certainly wasn't an easy or runaway victory, as the Fleetwings needed the final game of the season to take home the title. "What a rush, to come so close and wrap up the division in the last day," said reliever Cory Flores. "I think we'll have plenty of momentum going forward now." The team finished with a record of 49-39 and the division win is the 1st in franchise history. The Fleetwings will be looking for their 2nd Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit championship. |
