Newark Southpaw Tosses 5-0 Shutout Saturday, September 28th , 2013 Joseph Pavlish had an impressive outing at Eagles Park, hurling the Newark Eagles to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Ottawa Capitals. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Ottawa skipper Ricky Wilson said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the left-handed Pavlish yielded 2 hits and tallied 7 strikeouts with 3 walks.
