SPBC Awards Player of the Week Monday, September 9th , 2013 His critics are starting to suggest that Edmonton's Jarred Grubic doesn't have much left, but the 36-year-old Grubic prefers not to think that way. He cooked up a remarkable week in the last seven days, topping it off with the Player of the Week Award in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit. The veteran left fielder for the Drillers rolled to a .381 average (8-for-21) with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs. Grubic's current batting average stands at .258 and he has chalked up 14 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
