He hurled the Calgary Caracals to a 4-0 shutout victory, yielded 5 hits and chalked up 11 strikeouts and 1 walk. "A complete-game shutout is fun territory for me," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I had good balance and mechanics and was able to keep the ball down. When I do that, good things happen." Checking out his stats for the season, Ferguson has racked up 1 win and 3 losses in 7 starts, posted a 2.36 ERA, and struck out 51 batters in 53.1 innings.
