Alcala on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Sunday, July 21st , 2013 Getting 4 hits is a good day by any measure, but when those include a single, double, triple and a home run -- that's something special. Ricky Alcala's day was a special one. The center fielder hit for the cycle to spark the 9-1 Saskatoon Moose victory over the Detroit Chargers at Moose Grounds. Saskatoon manager Justin Fisher said he thought the whole lineup looked good in batting practice, but had not been expecting anything extraordinary from Alcala in particular. "Ricky caught me by surprise today," the skipper said. "He looked good before the game, but man, he looked unbelievable during it." For the day, Alcala finished with 3 runs batted in and 3 runs scored to go with his 4 hits. Ricky Alcala hit a two-run home run off John Candle in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
