Southern California-Vancouver Announce Swap Thursday, December 19th , 2013 It's all done except the paperwork. The Southern California Empires and the Vancouver Grizzlies have agreed to a trade that will send 23-year old minor league RF Bill Dow to Vancouver, while 28-year old RHP Ethan Hickson and $220 in cash will be shipped to Southern California. A top front office executive with the Empires described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. Vancouver will retain a portion of Hickson's remaining contract. |
