Chargers, Grizzlies Confirm Swap Wednesday, December 18th , 2013 The Chargers and Grizzlies announced a deal that was completed today. Detroit sent 29-year old C John Stoner to Vancouver for 25-year old minor league RHP Ryan Coffer and 24-year old minor league LF Zeshin Kaneko. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. In his 146-game career Stoner is batting .244 with 6 doubles, 2 triples, 22 home runs and 67 RBIs. He has stolen 7 bases and scored 47 times. |
