Los Angeles-Denver Swap: Ludwig for Anderson Wednesday, November 20th , 2013 The Knights and Cutthroats announced a deal that was completed today. Los Angeles sent 27-year old RHP Jake Ludwig and $250,000 in cash to Denver for 31-year old minor league LHP Tyler Anderson and 30-year old minor league RHP Joe Rice. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. During his career, Ludwig has recorded 10 wins and 9 losses with a 4.38 ERA and limited other teams to a .238 average. During his career, Anderson has registered a 52-36 record and 1 saves. His ERA stands at 4.11 and he has fired third strikes past 917 batters in 864.1 innings while giving up 275 walks. |
