Diablos Advance to Pro Circuit Cup Wednesday, October 16th , 2013 The Cup Qualifier didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game. But the El Paso Diablos are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the Los Angeles Knights 4-2 to advance to the Pro Circuit Cup. "It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Diablos shortstop Austin Ottens. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire." El Paso won the final game by a score of 3-1 at Inferno Field. Ottens was named series MVP after hitting .522 with a .542 on-base percentage.
