Anderson and Amaya Swapped Monday, September 2nd , 2013 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the San Francisco Peanuts and the Washington Warriors have agreed to a deal that will have 28-year old C Bobby Anderson and 21-year old SS Sandy Almazan heading to Washington in exchange for 17-year old minor league 3B Jonathan Amaya and 22-year old minor league RHP Jonathan Russie. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Anderson is currently hitting at a .227 pace with 8 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
