El Paso Sends Reyes to Tampa Bay Monday, September 2nd , 2013 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Diablos announced today the acquisition of 31-year old LHP Terry Tyson from the Tampa Bay Thunder in exchange for 41-year old RHP Earl Dunbar, 19-year old minor league SS Vinny Reyes, and 20-year old minor league RHP Dylan Smith. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Diablos, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." This year, Tyson has fanned 98 in 117 innings and collected a 6-8 record with a 3.54 ERA. |
