Tampa Bay Trades Hunter to Philadelphia for Omori Monday, August 26th , 2013 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Tampa Bay Thunder and the Philadelphia Keystones have agreed to a deal that will have 34-year old RHP John Hunter and 29-year old RHP Justin Denton heading to Philadelphia in exchange for 24-year old LHP Nate DePriest, 23-year old minor league CF Hisanori Omori, and 19-year old minor league LF Sean Goodwin. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. For the season, Hunter has a record of 11 wins and 3 losses in 15 appearances. He has an ERA of 2.30 and has fanned 134 batters in 117.1 innings. |
