Cutthroats Deal Lumby to Pilots for Christensen Monday, August 26th , 2013 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Cutthroats announced today the acquisition of 25-year old RHP Tim Christensen from the Atlanta Pilots in exchange for 18-year old minor league RF Dean Lumby and 22-year old minor league LHP Gary Birley. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Cutthroats, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." This season, Christensen has rung up 2 wins and 12 losses in 15 games. He has an ERA of 6.17 and has fanned 80 batters in 93.1 innings. |
