Shamrocks, Pilots Agree to Swap Thursday, December 12th , 2013 Boston and Atlanta announced some roster changes today as the Shamrocks acquired 25-year old minor league C Jesus Castillo from the Pilots in exchange for 30-year old 3B Pete Marquardt. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Over his career Marquardt is batting .262 with 36 home runs and 138 RBIs. In 312 games he has delivered 303 hits, scored 129 runs, stolen 62 bases and gotten on base at a .311 clip. |
