El Paso-Toronto Swap: Johnson for Chavez Wednesday, December 4th , 2013 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the El Paso Diablos and the Toronto Titans. In the deal El Paso got 21-year old C Victor Chavez from Toronto and dealt 25-year old RHP T.J. Johnson to the Titans. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." Johnson has collected 7 wins and 5 losses over his career with a 4.55 ERA. The 25-year-old hurler also has struck out 92 batters in 99 innings and allowed 93 hits. |
