Los Angeles Extends Series Lead in Low-Scoring Affair
The Los Angeles Knights moved to within one game of the Cup Qualifier, downing the visiting Toronto Titans at Camelot by a score of 3-1. Knights right-hander Andrew Schumacher had a strong outing in which he threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The win gives the Knights a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Play-in Series.

Schumacher gave Los Angeles a solid start. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 6 hits over 8 innings.

"Andrew did a good job of managing their lineup," said Los Angeles manager Jason Tudor.

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 5th , 2013 at Titans Fields in Toronto.
