Tampa Bay designated hitter Nick Silva had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Boston Shamrocks, 6-4. Akihisa Shibuya recorded his 2nd save for Tampa Bay. The Thunder bumped their record to 38-30 with this win.

Tampa Bay grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Silva hit a grand slam home run off Justin Barbee. His 2nd home run of the season put the Thunder out in front, 6-2.
