The game between Dallas and Los Angeles is in the books, despite a little rain.
The Dallas Texans beat the Los Angeles Knights at Everything's Bigger in Texas Ballpark. The final score was 6-4, in favor of Dallas. Andrew Middleton led the way, going 2-for-3 for the home team. The winner was Eric Streeper, who threw 103 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits. Josh O'Toole recorded the save for Dallas, his 1st of the season.
Devon Teeple had a big 2-run home run for the Texans in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Dallas leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Matt Ryder and swatted a home run to right. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Texans ahead, 4-0.
"Enjoyed this one," Middleton told the Dallas Citizen. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
Dallas has a record of 3-2.
