Dickison Excels in 8-4 Vancouver Win
A good performance from catcher Bob Dickison helped the Vancouver Bruins defeat the Southern California Empires, 8-4. Dickison was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Bruins. Vancouver pitcher David Eglinton earned the win, hiking his record to 5-1. Luis Galdamez suffered the loss. With the win, the Bruins have a record of 16-10.

Vancouver used the timely hitting of Ray Pugh to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bruins on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Pugh.
