Bruins Stadium was rocking after an exciting Bruins win.

Vancouver turned a good effort from starter Sean Lee into a win over the Vacaville Steelheads at Bruins Stadium. The Bruins won the game, 3-1. Vancouver reliever Nick Green picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Colt Emerich took the loss.

Vancouver got a knockout punch from Jose Alferez. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"What a buzz," said Alferez after it was over.

Vancouver is now 7-6.
