Lynn Steals Spotlight, But Last Laugh Belongs to Winnipeg
The Allentown Fleetwings and Winnipeg Buffaloes provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Winnipeg Buffaloes overcame a pretty good performance by Allentown designated hitter Ryan Lynn, beating the Fleetwings, 6-5, at Goldeyes Park. Lynn hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Winnipeg, now 2-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

Some sloppy defense hurt the Fleetwings. In the bottom of the eighth, with Winnipeg trailing 5-4, Paul Kloser was at the plate when Winnipeg scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Buffaloes to go in front, 6-5.

"We didn't play well enough to win," Allentown skipper Eric Roberge said.
