The Los Angeles Knights withstood a fine game by Tampa Bay center fielder Darnell Phillips at Camelot, to upend the Thunder, 8-7. Phillips was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Jake Moore earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 4 runs on 4 hits in 3.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-2. The Knights move to 23-12 with the win, while the Thunder drop to 17-18.

Tony Barksdale had a big 2-run double for the Knights in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Los Angeles trailing 5-4 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a cutter from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Kevin Houston and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Knights ahead, 6-5.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Barksdale.
